Winter Recreation

Experience the Village of Poynette in Wisconsin's wonderful winter time. 

The Department of Parks & Recreation's mission is to create opportunities for recreation, wellness, and connection in all seasons.

Snowshoeing or Cross-Country Skiing is welcome in any of the Village's Parks.  Hours: dawn to dusk.

Trails are not groomed; you need to blaze your own.

After snow removal on all streets and sidewalks, we encourage you to walk our paved trials at

Valley View and Pauquette Park.

Beginners sledding hill is available at

Old Settler's Park.

Located in Old Settlers Park, our ice rink provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy some winter outdoor time.  Opening Day for the ice rink varies each year

depending on the weather as
establishing ice can be challenging and

requires the weather to cooperate.
